Twin names?

i am on my wifes yahoo thing right now





my wife is in the hospital right now with my newborn son and daughter i cant be with her right now because i have to stay at home with my 4 year old son jason and my 2 year old daughter maria which are slpeeping right now





i am really worried about my newborn%26#039;s because they were born 4 and half weeks early i am really scared. has andone ever had a primi%26#039;s this early





we have no decided names yet so help i know i know it is really late but the nurse siad we dont have to name them untill the day we leave the hospital witch i do not know when will be





my son i only 4lbs and my daughter just makes 3 lbs.





we like the names


kyle,dylan,andre,andew,damien,for the boy and for the girl we like isabella,kiley lily for the girl





but we were thinking of naming the girl Tara because it means%26quot;hope for life%26quot; and scince she is so little we thought this name suites her.(i personally do not luke this name)

I like Dylan %26amp; Lily. Try not to worry too much...doctors are used to babies being born this early. Congratulations!
Reply:4 1/2 weeks early is really not bad.. They may be in the hospital a week and your daughter a bit longer. They may go home on a monitor(apnea, heartrate).


I%26#039;ve never been real big on Tara. I like Andre/Isabella and Lily. Hang in there!

I am pregnant with twin girls, 30 weeks along and I know how you feel, I am nervous about preemies too. I%26#039;ve known twins both under 2 lbs being just fine. Good luck and try not to worry so much.
Reply:preemies these days do very well. Your son is actually pretty big and will probably come home before your daughter. My friend just had a preemie at 24 weeks. The baby is healthy and fine and was released as soon as she reached 5 lbs.





All the names are nice except Damien (sounds evil). I love the name Andrew and Isabella. Congratulations and good luck.

Personally, I think twin names that reflect the connection are good, so I like Kyle and Kylie the best of the choices you gave.

As others have said, it is normal for twins to be born early -- about 2-3 weeks early, in fact -- so 4 1/2 weeks early isn%26#039;t that premature. 4 lbs. and 3 lbs. are a little small, but twins often weigh in the 4-5 lb. range, so yours aren%26#039;t too much smaller than that, and babies can survive when born at half that weight. She%26#039;s 2 1/2 years old now, and she%26#039;s bigger (and smarter) than her 3 year old friends. My husband and I are expecting child no. 2 in September, and we%26#039;re looking for names too.

The names for twins usualy sound better if they are alliterations. Some of the names I was thinking about were damien and demi, andre and andrea, andrew and amanda, kyle and kylie, dylan and daisy, israel and isabella, sam and suri etc. I personally love the name Suri for a girl. Its also Tom Cruise%26#039;s girls name.
