1. i cant believe how many DIED - hedwig, mad eye, dobby, lupin, tonks,fred that was so sad


2. cant beleive snape loved lily all that time and only hated harry because he was foolish


3. GUESSED RIGHT that dumbedore had oredered snape to kill him


4. thought that if harry died you would see him walking off with his parents in %26quot;heaven%26quot; was partly right as he saw dumbledore in limbo


5. cant believe that dumbledore was such a selfish and %26quot;dangerous%26quot; person


6. what did those boys do to ariana (dumbledores sister) i didnt get it


7. the 19 years later was great i%26#039;m glad JK did that didnt think she would


8.so happy ron and hermione survived but teddy tinks ended up like harry


9. did harry beat the killing curse twice altogether then?

1. Well obviously people were going to die. In the first book it talks about how many people died and how many families were destroyed and ripped apart during Voldemort%26#039;s time, so of course this time it would be no different. So it honestly did not come a shock to me at all so many people died because i was expecting many deaths. I didn%26#039;t expect Dobby to die tho, nor Fred. Fred dies, George%26#039;s ear is cursed off... poor twins :(


2. He hated harry because he couldn%26#039;t stand the fact that he was James%26#039; son and not his. I also think the fact Harry has Lily%26#039;s eyes was haunting to snape because everytime he%26#039;d see harry he%26#039;d be reminded of his long dead love.


3. Yeah I thot so too.


4. I thot harry would die.


5. He wasn%26#039;t a bad person. I liked that JK Rowling revealed his past and showed that Dumbledore made mistakes too. I liked how she %26quot;humanized%26quot; him. Before he seemed to perfect, too good to be true. And besides, people%26#039;s mistakes are usually what help shape them into the people they become if they learn from those mistakes. Would Dumbledore have been the same person he was later in life if he had not made those mistakes earlier?


6. It never says exactly what they did. It could be anywhere from teasing her, to beating her up, to raping her.


7. I personally didn%26#039;t like the epilogue. I was diasppointed that it didn%26#039;t say who Teddy lived with, or what harry and ron and hermiones jobs were, they never really explained who Victoire was... and there were lots of other loose ends too.


8. I think it was good that she turned Teddy into a %26quot;Harry%26quot; type character.


9. No clue i%26#039;m still really confused about that whole part of the book.

I am not sure that in the end Dumbledore was selfish and dangerous - remember he worked for everybodies good -muggles and all - not just Harry


Lets just say that the boys did something to Ariana that drove her mad - could have been a lot of things. She was at a very sensitive age for a magic uses. Look at Harries mother at that age in the memories of Snape.

Reply:1. I know! I hated all the death, but was so glad Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Ginny were ok.

3. I didn%26#039;t know what to think about Dumbledore%26#039;s death in HP. But I am satisfied now.


4. I just knew she was going to kill off Harry. But I pictured Sirius, his parents, and whole extended family would be there to walk him off to the great beyond. SO GLAD I was wrong!!!!!!


5. I think this series goes to a lot of trouble to point out that no one is all good all the time. And most people are a mixture of good and bad.


6. They hit her with a killing curse, I assumed.


7. I was so glad she gave us that last scene to remember them by. Excellent!

9. Actually it was 3 times! 1 as a baby, 1 in the Forest, 1 at Hogwarts.

yea i no teddy ( lupin not tonks) ended up lke harry but he is his grandfather n hetty was relli close 2 sirius so i think hez a better off than harry...he dint have by1 teddy has sum family his grandmother.....harry





yepp harry did beat the killing curse 2wice....but there were so many unanswered questions...wat was with lily%26#039;s eyes wat was the important thing we were supposed 2 leaarn....n wat does harry do now....n wat did harrys parents do...so many questions!!!

I loved the added bit at the end because I need to know that the survivors were truly ok.
Reply:1. Yes! Hedwig was really a shock. Completely unexpected. And Fred!! How cruel. I%26#039;ve always said that the worst thing that JKR could do would be to kill one of the twins without the other. I definitely cried the most for poor Fred.


2. I loved it! It was all so sweet. And then Harry giving Snape%26#039;s name to his one child who had Lily%26#039;s eyes.


3. Yes! Been on that side for two years now. Can%26#039;t wait to say some %26quot;I told you so%26quot; %26#039;s to those who thought I was dellusional.


4. Yeah, that part was pretty cool.


5. Same here but I suppose it shouldn%26#039;t have been a shock. Great heroes usually have shady pasts, something that helps to mold them into the great people that they become.


6. The three boys (Dumbledore, Aberforth, and Gridleward) got into a three way duel and one of their spells hit Ariana by mistake, killing her.


7. I loved the last chapter. Thanks to the happiness in that chapter, I was able to put the book with a smile on my face.


8. Same here!


9. He beat it when he has in limbo and again when the curse backfired on Voldemort. Though, if you count the time as a baby as well, Harry beat the curse 3 times.





Overall, great book! A wonderful finale to a wonderful series!
