HELP!!!! i am damn sad!!! =((?

i met Lily since grade 6, and that time we were best best friend. we would gossip and chat all about best friends stuff. 2 years has passed, she found another best friend, Anne. Ann and Lily, shared the same hobby, which is anime! But, i on the other hand, hate anime like hell! i don%26#039;t like anime, it is simply chidish. One thing, i notice is that, the friendship between me and Lily, is totally drifting apart. She seems to be closer with Anne, and that is pissing me off. The only thing, Anne and me, could chat is studies and HW. Outside school, we seems ntg to chat abt. I%26#039;m getting dissapointed and trying to ignore Lily these days. I don%26#039;t think, i want to turn back time. advice pls

This is part of life. You will meet people and they will leave. You are still young though and probably don%26#039;t know that.





There is nothing you can do. You can%26#039;t make her do something she doesn%26#039;t want to. Just let go. Let her be.





You fear losing her, and probably hurts too.





But remember, you%26#039;ll make another good friend one day, probably even better.


Don%26#039;t waste time trying to be friends with someone that doesn%26#039;t want to.





You should let go of her. You will be sad, but you will get over it eventually. Remember, don%26#039;t force anyone.
Reply:tell lily about it and find a hobby you can both do, or maybe even her new friend as well. If she won%26#039;t accept that, find a better friend.
Reply:wow..i went through the same situation with my best frnd...i never tried to do sumthing.... n now i miss her like hell....so all i can tell you is dont let stupid things like anime..or hobbies in general...come btw u .....talk to her about it so that both of u can find the solution together...juz try not to lose her!

Reply:If you can%26#039;t stand anime at all while your friend likes it, you should probably find a new friend. Although, there will always be differences between yourself and future friends. Sometimes, it%26#039;s best to look past little things like hobbies (if they%26#039;re not harmful) and just be friends. If you%26#039;re mature enough to look past the anime thing, talk to your friend and try to work things out.

First of all, stab Anne. Make sure she dies. Then the world will be a better place with one less anime freak.


Second, take your friend to a church anc have an exorcism performed on her to try and save her from liking anime. If that doesn%26#039;t work, stab her too.








Or not... I%26#039;m in a similar situation. My best friend of SIX years and I have headed of finto high school.


His interests include: sitting on his *** playing video games..... and nothing else. Now, I have different friends, but he won%26#039;t leave me alone. The fact that I have a new best friend is probably pissing him off, but people change. It%26#039;s sad but it%26#039;s true, people change and there%26#039;s nothing you can do about it. I used to call my friend all the time, but now we don%26#039;t ever talk since there%26#039;s nothing to talk about, but in the hallways he finds every excuse to talk to me.





Just the other day he told me that he wanted us to start hanging out again and wanted things to go back so they were like old times. Problem is, I%26#039;m way different now, and the stuff I do is stuff he would never want to.





For example, my idea of fun is running around downtown, or the mall with two or three of my friends, just going crazy, hitting on girls, and doing all this other tight stuff. His idea of fun is sitting at his house playing video games, and maybe going to a movie or basketball game, but it%26#039;s always you and him.


Now, your friend%26#039;s interests have taken a change for the worst, I mean anime... for cryin%26#039; out loud. And you have a lot better things to do it sounds like. Find friends with interests like yours and you%26#039;ll have a lot of fun. You%26#039;re in eighth grade, right? Believe me, that%26#039;s the best year you%26#039;ll ever have. Just be nice to everyone, and make a lot of new friends.





Bottom line, people change and there%26#039;s nothing you can do about it.
