Effexor XR safe to use on long term?

I have been suffering from depression from I was as little as 5 years. I am 27 now. Have been changed from Lily Fluoxetine to Venlor XR (Effexor XR) 150 mg from the birth of my baby, 6 months ago. I feel great. Is it fine to use it for the rest of my life. Whenever I try stopping my antidepressants gradually, I always fall back in depression.

Effexor XR safe to use on long term?
I%26#039;m on Effexor too, though not the XR version. As far as I understand it, if you%26#039;re going to be on it long term, you%26#039;re advised to have your blood pressure checked now and then, and possibly also blood tests.

But of course, check this with your prescribing doctor. If it%26#039;s any help, if I end up staying on it for three months or more, I%26#039;m definitely going to have my blood pressure checked, just to be on the safe side.
Reply:I think that Effexor is the one that they have to check your liver regularily for damage. Look it up on webmd.com.
Reply:I%26#039;ve been using it for 3 years now. No problems. Just don%26#039;t forget to take it. You%26#039;ll feel like CRAP! Don%26#039;t ever try to stop taking Effexor XR on your own!

  1. Consider that combine effexor with some drugs can be dangerous . I Buy Generic Viagra some days ago and honestly it gave me headaches combined with effexor
