I've been wanting another tattoo for years , but just couldnt decide what to get.How about these ideas?

I have a purple lily on my right ankle, it%26#039;s pretty and all, but I want my next tatoo to MEAN something..here are my thoughts..





My Gramma was my best friend, she died 7 years ago...her lifelong nickname was%26quot;chick%26quot;, EVERYONE called her that... I used to tell her all the time that she %26quot;was my favorite rose%26quot;(dont ask, I was a lil kid) Anyway, I%26#039;m thinking about getting a baby chick with a single rose in her beak with my Gramma%26#039;s initials underneath..either on my left ankle or the underneath of my forearm, a few inches above my %26quot;elbow pit%26quot;


OR


A flowery ankle bracelet but with my 3 kids names as the stems/vines..preferably in their own handwriting..





So, do these sound okay or are they completely cheesy? THANX for your input..

I have a few tatt%26#039;s myself and I can tell you this nothing is stupid if it means something to you. The one for your grandma is great I love it and the one for your kids is cute. I would advise to get your Gram%26#039;s tatt first, below your %26quot;elbow pit%26quot;. Do you plan on having anymore kids? If you do you might wanna wait till you have any other before you exclude any bundle of joy... So just give your children%26#039;s that a couple of years, if your kids are young get their hand writing now so you can preserve their lil hand writing..

Reply:The best tattoo ideas are what%26#039;s in your heart. Both are great ideas. I wouldn%26#039;t do the forearm thing though. Go for the ankle.

Reply:Bec they have meaning to you either one is good. I dont like the places you want to put the chick one though. I would put it on my back or something not on my arm or ankle for that one. I really like the ankle one with the kids names. I have my kids names on me and I love it. I want more too but it has to have a meaning also. I understand what you mean. I like both so do both :)
Reply:I like the ankle bracelet idea. i have a rose on my ankle, with the thorny vines circling my ankle, then a %26quot;ribbon%26quot; or banner type piece thru the vines with my 3 kids names on it.





for your gramma, i would put a little basket with a baby chick in it and her initials on it, with a long stem rose laying beside it.
