How can this be, another set of twins?

My name is Hiliary and I have a son named Gavin who is 6 years old now, twin sons Logan and Caleb who are still 3 and I have Lily and Austin who are 3 months now. My husband and I went on a trip three weeks ago, and today I found out that I am pregnant again, with what to me seems to be twins. I have the same sickness, measurment, and food cravings as when I was pregnant with Lily and Austin, and when I was pregnant with Logan and Caleb. Is it possible to have 3 sets of twins in a row with out using and drugs to help? Please help me, and how should I tell my husband that I am pregnant again?

How can this be, another set of twins?
It would be very unusual, but definitely not impossible.

You are certainly going to have your hands full. I hope you have a lot of help.

I hope after this pregnancy you talk to your doctor about birth control options. At the very least, to delay getting pregnant right away again, because after having twins 3 months ago and now another pregnancy that could possibly be twins, your body is going to need LOTS of time to recover.

Good luck to you.
Reply:Wow...what a full house that%26#039;d be.

I certainly would agree that it%26#039;s possible. Rare, but possible. Are there alot of multiples in your family?

As far as the measurements, if you%26#039;re not very far along, those may not be accurate.

Either way, you might wanna make sure your husband is sitting down. AND, depending on his job now, you might want to have a marker and the classifieds out for him.
Reply:absolutely possible. My grandmother had 4 sets of twins.
Reply:Totally possible. My great-grandmother had four consecutive sets of twins. This was WAY before fertility drugs, too. . . .
Reply:Some women have a higher than normal level of FSH (follicle stimulating hormone). This causes them to produce two mature eggs every cycle instead of one.

If this is the case you may want to discuss having your hormones tested after you finish this pregnancy. You might keep having twins if it is.
Reply:Buy him a TV and give him the remote control. Get him a beer or two. He%26#039;ll be happy after that.
Reply:Wow Congrats. That is rare. There was a lady on tv recently that had 17 kids and 3 sets of twins and they said it was like one in five million chance of having 3 sets of twins naturally.

Just tell hub , he helped make them . It shouldnt be a big deal.
Reply:You%26#039;ve got to be very positive, or he%26#039;s going to be depressed. I have a friend like you, just uber-eggs. Almost every birth is twins, fraternal twins. You should phrase it so that he%26#039;s proud of his ability to procreate, at least until it sinks in that it%26#039;s 7 kids now. Both of you need to nuke everything needed to make a baby, or you%26#039;ll keep this up for years to come. lol

CONGRATULATIONS!!

LOL--start selling his little swimmers since they work so well!!
Reply:Wow...that is overwhelming! It is possible. I know a girl that has been pregnant with 3 sets of twins and a set of triplets. She did miscarry some of them, but still, she was pregnant with them! You really need your hubby to know. You shouldn%26#039;t have to deal with this on your own, not even for a few days. There probably isn%26#039;t an easy way to tell him either. Just go for it, it has to be done. Sorry, not very good advice, but you%26#039;re in a tough situation. Good luck!
Reply:It seems your eggs are more likely to split in two!
Reply:i would start by telling him he needs a payrise soon ,or start selling his spermies if they work that good.congrats lovely
Reply:it has been known to happen, wow you are going to have a big family. ask the dr for an ultrasound soon so you can prepare. having six babies under 5 is going to be really hard even 5 under 5 if it is only one will be hard to handle.

i just hope you have some really good support from your husband and family even the local community as you are going to need it. i see a much bigger car in your future.

are the other sets identical or not?
