Is Bible a Word of God???
its wonderful isnt it.

Its god word and literal fact when they want to convince us they are right. When its wrong and got contradictions its because men wrote it.

Absolutly classic
Reply:yes some where came from god, but for sure it was already been summaries or getting edited by some else's

for the diff. books like the new testaments i think that its came from humanist writers of the bible...
Reply:The Old Testament is based upon the Jewish Torah which most jews will admit is based upon ASTRONOMY, and ASTROLOGY, there's also a lot of drug use (magic mushrooms, aka manna from heaven, aka "honey").

The stories in the new testament had been around for a long time before this fictional christ character, they were written by different groups of people, but mainly from what they've found they were created by two groups called The Essenes (of dead sea scroll fame) and The Gnostics.

They didn't write these stories to be taken in a literal sense, they wrote these stories to conceal their knowledge of shamanic hallucinogenic drug use (magic mushrooms,) astrology, and astronomy, from what later became the church itself who told everyone that the sun revolved around the earth for 1600 years which were known as the Dark Ages. They've been pushing this false literal historical perspective of the bible ever since they persecuted and killed off the sun worshipping drug users that wrote those tales in it. Christianity is the biggest act of hypocrisy ever created, and there's nothing holy about any of it.

All religions have these same essential roots.. sun and planet worship, and the use of hallucinogenic drugs.
Reply:The same standards apply to heathen evidence as to biblica. Is it based on a primary source? Is it biased, ambiguous or simply wrong? Relevant evidence is extremely scarce; what, if anything, does silence imply? In the early parts of the Bible's story, biblical persons have yet to be identified correctly in any external sources. There have been many attempts, and some confident claims, but as yet there is no good reason to identify Moses or Joseph with any known person or period in ancient Egyptian records.

Every impartial reader must, like Mark Twain, reach the conclusion that: "The Bible is a mass of fables and traditions, mere mythology."
Reply:nope, it was wrote by people who contradicted each other then it was also mistranslated

if it was the work of a single author then it wouldn't be so self-contradictory

also many are going to make reasons for why people see contradictions, some have started but this is the religious version of a getoutofjail free card
Reply:That reminds me of how the Quran says the Earth was created in 6 days (just like the Bible said FIRST) It says this is several places, and THEN, it describes the creation account...which adds up to 8 days!!! 8 and 6 are different numbers. Maybe Mohammad should have asked Allah to teach him how to count.

This, and many many other contradictions in the Quran PROVE it is the words of MEN, who were pretending to speak for the one true God (whose name is THE FORCE)

Incidentally, there is something you should know about the founder of that website. Zakir Naik is a slippery liar. He even looks dishonest. You are his mindless puppet now. Snap out of it
Reply:this is actually boring question to read besides your 1st one is a story, how can u argue wit a story? and dont simply pick out verses read above and read below also......
Reply:it was , but man changed it

if you are seeking the truth read the Davinci code it was written by Christian writer

if you want to listen to god's words you may read the quran it hasn't changed at all and you will never find any contridections at all

this link is a translation to quran in English

Reply:Yes there are a lot of discrepancies throughout the Bible. There's also a tonne of books to why. What I read was this, firstly it was written about 400AD. So that's maybe 4-5 generations of being told orally in the disciples families before it was ever written down. That accounts for a lot. And some also conclude rivalry between the disciples as well. Some say that the words of some are totally fictitious and made up. Mainly Paul, from what I read, was a bit of a lair said by the people around him. He talked in riddles and made little sense.

There's a book I read, I think it was called "Misquoting Jesus - Who changed the story of the Bible" or something to that effect. It was quite interesting.
Reply:The bible was written by men and lots of them, purely to control people thats why there are contradictions. Im not anti-Christian thats just the way it is
Reply:I see that you are still in Kindergarden...

The first thing that righteous Noah did after landing off the ark was to plant a vineyard and make wine and get drunk. He got naked in his tent with his grandson Canaan… Poor kid… he turned out to be a disappointment! His grandpa Noah cursed the daylights out of him… In my old Christian School days I was told that the blacks were all descendants of Canaan…

The righteous Lot got drunk and had sex with his young virgin daughters until he got them pregnant! God must have enjoyed watching. He made Lot a Righteous man right on the spot!…

The first miracle that Jesus performed was to change water into wine!

A good shot of whiskey is prescribed BY GOD’S HOLY LAW as part of worship in his HOLY TEMPLE!!!

Deuteronomy 14:26 (NIV) Use the silver to buy whatever you like: cattle, sheep, wine or other fermented drink (KJV "strong drink"), or anything you wish. Then you and your household shall eat there in the presence of the Lord your God and rejoice.

God Almighty prescribed a DAILY “strong drink offering” for himself… The pageantry of the strong drink poured on the fire of the Altar to the LORD must have been awesome to watch!!! For centuries it used to be a Christian tradition to pour a few drops on the table for God’s sake before you bottom up your “strong drink”…

Numbers 28:7 (NIV) The accompanying drink offering is to be a quarter of a hin of fermented drink (KJV "strong wine") with each lamb. Pour out the drink offering to the Lord at the sanctuary.

Proverbs 31:6-7 (NIV) Give beer to those who are perishing, wine to those who are in anguish; let them drink and forget their poverty and remember their misery no more* (*Please don’t drink like this and drive! The Bible publishers are too irresponsible not to have warning labels on the Bibles!)

Even the Bible teaches that nothing beats a good shot of hard liquor to get you back on your feet!

Zachariah 9:17 (KJV-1611) For how great is his goodness, and how great is his beauty! Corn (fermented corn, of course!) shall make the young men cheerful, and new wine the maids.

Regardless of your religion or lack thereof “Eat, DRINK and be merry for tomorrow we shall die” is an absolute universal truth! The same two-bit brained Christians banning abortion today were the ones who made the mobsters stinking rich people during the “prohibition” promoted by Billy Sunday saying that "Liquor is God's Worst Enemy" and had to be destroyed! Who knows what evils the misguided Pro-Lifers are planning for our nation now…!
Reply:Ok, Let me cut these down one at a time.

How old was Jehoiachin when he became king?

2 Chronicles 36:9 and 2 Kings 24:8

Eight years old 2 Chron. 36:9, "Jehoiachin was eight years old when he became king, and he reigned three months and ten days in Jerusalem, and he did evil in the sight of the Lord."

Eighteen years old 2 Kings 24:8 "Jehoiachin was eighteen years old when he became king, and he reigned three months in Jerusalem; and his mother’s name was Nehushta the daughter of Elnathan of Jerusalem."

The correct age of Jehoiachin was 18, not 8. Obviously, Jehoiachin was 18 when he began his rule since it says he did evil in the site of the Lord which suggests maturity and responsibility.

The discrepancy in ages is probably due to a copyist error. We can see that the difference in ages is 10 years. The system of number notation used by the Jews at the time of Ezra consisted of horizontal hooks that represented values of ten. would equal the number 14 where would be 24. If one or both of the hooks were smudged or flaked off of a papyri, then the dates would be off by values of 10 years.

Does this mean the Bible is not trustworthy? Not at all. Inspiration is ascribed to the original writings and not to the copies. Scribes made errors. However, the errors were very infrequent and from other information in the Bible, we can easily ascertain what the correct age is.

Another possible explanation is that the difference of 10 years from the two different texts could be that he began to rule with his father at the age of eight but did not take complete control until the age of 18, a 10-year difference.

How long did Jehoiachin rule over Jerusalem?

2 Kings 24:8 and 2 Chronicles 36:9

Three months (2 Kings 24:8) - "Jehoiachin was eighteen years old when he became king, and he reigned three months in Jerusalem; and his mother’s name was Nehushta the daughter of Elnathan of Jerusalem," (NASB).

Three months and ten days (2 Chronicles 36:9) - "Jehoiachin was eight years old when he became king, and he reigned three months and ten days in Jerusalem, and he did evil in the sight of the Lord," (NASB).

The discrepancy in duration is due to a copyist error. We can see that the difference time is 10 days. The system of number notation used by the Jews at the time of Ezra consisted of horizontal hooks that represented decades, or "tens." would equal the number 14 where would be 24. If one or both of the hooks were smudged or flaked off of a papyri, then the dates would be off by a value of ten. Therefore, most probably, the correct value was three months and ten days since the hook could easily have flaked off in a copy.

Does this mean the Bible is not trustworthy? Not at all. Inspiration is ascribed to the original writings and not to the copies. Scribes made errors. However, the errors were very infrequent and from other information in the Bible, we can easily ascertain what the correct age is.

How many baths, 2000 or 3,000?

1 Kings 7:26 and 2 Chronicles 4:5

2,000 baths (1 Kings 7:26) - "And it was a handbreadth thick, and its brim was made like the brim of a cup, as a lily blossom; it could hold two thousand baths."

3,000 baths (2 Chronicles 4:5) - "And it was a handbreadth thick, and its brim was made like the brim of a cup, like a lily blossom; it could hold 3,000 baths."

It appears that the difference in numbers is do to a copyist error. The characters used for the numbers 2,000 and 3,000 are similar. = 2,000 and = 3,000. A tired copyist could easily mistake one for another.

The diameter of a bowl is mathematically incorrect

2 Chron. 4:2

(2 Chronicles 4:2) - "Then he made a bronze altar, twenty cubits in length and twenty cubits in width and ten cubits in height. 2Also he made the cast metal sea, ten cubits from brim to brim, circular in form, and its height was five cubits and its circumference thirty cubits," (NASB).

The diameter of a circle divided into the circumference always equals 3.14159... Here in 2 Chron. 4:2, the diameter is equal to three since the circumference of 30 divided by the diameter of 10 is equal to three and not 3.14. Is this a problem? Not at all.

First of all, the Bible is not intended to be a scientific book on geometry. Second, the inside of the bowl could have been 10 cubits while the outside diameter was 31.4159 cubits. Third, it was a common practice in the Bible to give rounded numbers to represent the whole. Please note the following examples:

Num. 31:32-34, "Now the booty that remained from the spoil which the men of war had plundered was 675,000 sheep, 33and 72,000 cattle, 34and 61,000 donkeys."

Josh. 8:25, "And all who fell that day, both men and women, were 12,000—all the people of Ai."

Judges 7:3, "Now therefore come, proclaim in the hearing of the people, saying, ‘Whoever is afraid and trembling, let him return and depart from Mount Gilead.’" So 22,000 people returned, but 10,000 remained."

2 Chron. 2:14, "And Solomon amassed chariots and horsemen. He had 1,400 chariots, and 12,000 horsemen, and he stationed them in the chariot cities and with the king at Jerusalem."

Obviously, numbers were rounded on a regular basis. Therefore, the rounding of the diameter measurement is consistent with the biblical method.
Reply:The Bible as a whole is the Word of God.

The authentic sayings of the Prophets are the commands of God.

Other parts written by men such as historians, scribes, recorders...are similar to ordinary books written by philosophers.

All contradictions are explained in that Book, but they cannot be understood by people of no faith. It seems contradictory when God commands man to love not and to hate not! Only a humble man studying it with faith, meditation, sincerity, purity, detachment..., may comprehend some aspects of the divine truth. That is why the Bible still remains as one of the Sacred Scriptures of the prominent people throughout history.

GU-UN
Reply:Bible is not the word of God as in the Christian understanding. It is, however, an ancient book of occult or cabbalistic wisdom using astrology and numerology to hide deeper truths. Those less learned take surface stories as literal or historical.
Reply:there are no contradictions in the Bible.

Have you ever read it or are you picking these up off another site?

jehoiakim had several sons in line for the throne..he named his son Jehoiachin as the new King when he was 8 yrs old.

jehoiachin did not take the throne until his dad passed away 10 ys. later. he was 18 at the time. There is no contradictions in the Bible NONE
Reply:each book in the bible was written by different men, at different times. naturally there are going to be different accounts of what is in there.
Reply:. When an author writes a book, he or she usually fashions it to appeal to a specific group of people. Some books are written for the highly educated, others for children, still others for those in specialized fields. While the Bible is easily available to all, it is meant to be understood and appreciated by a particular group of people. Jehovah crafted it for the humble, the meek ones of the earth. Such people can grasp the sense of the Bible, whatever their education, culture, station in life, or ethnic group. (1 Timothy 2:3, 4) On the other hand, an understanding of Bible truth is denied to those not rightly disposed, no matter how intelligent or educated they may be. The haughty, the proud, cannot grasp the precious truths of God’s Word. (Matthew 13:11-15; Luke 10:21; Acts 13:48) Only God could produce such a book.
Reply:Yes it is the Word of God and it can be your best friend or your worse enemy!

Your not filled with the Spirit of God so You can't understand the Word of God. You only see it with your own understanding instead the way God wants you too.

Contradictions In Bible? Quoted in details . DO U have any explanation?
Easy:

The Bible is a fictional book as was never properly proofread.
Reply:Who did Adam %26amp; Eve's children have children with if they were the first people on earth?
Reply:okay i checked my Bible ( niv ) ... the 1st contradiction ... both states 18 years old ...
Reply:As for the first "contradiction", my Bible has Jehoiachin as being eighteen, not eight, in both passages. I checked several different versions for that one (www.biblegateway.com).

As for the second, that contradiction is in the KJV, but is NOT present in (for example) the Holman Christian Standard Bible. Both verses in the Holman CSB say that the container could hold 11,000 gallons (WOW!).

You have to understand that for many years, the Bible was copied by hand. It's possible that for BOTH "contradictions" the scribes wrote down the wrong number. For example, in the first one, the number eighteen was written as "eight" followed by "ten." I can see how that would be confusing, especially if those who translated the Bible weren't aware of the "ten" being there, or thought that it was a scribal error, or it was copied wrong from the text they were translating from, or...

Errors like those were fixed in later editions of the Bible, when older (and more reliable) manuscripts were discovered. There are lots of errors like those in the KJV, but you won't find them in the Holman CSB (which is what I use) and many other newer versions.

Genesis

# God says that if Adam eats from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, then the day that he does so, he will die. But later Adam eats the forbidden fruit (3:6) and yet lives for another 930 years (5:5). 2:17

# As a punishment for killing Abel, God says Cain will be "a fugitive and a vagabond." Yet in just a few verses (4:16-17) Cain will settle down, marry, have a son, and build a city. This is not the activity one would expect from a fugitive and a vagabond. 4:12

# God promises Abram and his descendants all of the land of Canaan. But both history and the bible (Acts 7:5 and Heb.11:13) show that God's promise to Abram was not fulfilled. 13:15, 15:18, 17:8, 28:13-14

# How long was the Egyptian captivity? This verse says 400 years, but Ex.12:40 and Gal.3:17 say 430 years. 15:13

# "In the fourth generation they [Abraham's descendants] shall come hither again." But, if we count Abraham, then their return occurred after seven generations: Abraham, Isaac (Gen.21:1-3), Jacob (Gen.25:19-26), Levi (Gen.35:22-23), Kohath (Ex.6:16), Amramn (Ex.6:18), and Moses (Ex.6:20). 15:16

# God promises Abram's descendants the land of Canaan from the Nile to the Euphrates. But according to Acts 7:5 and Heb.11:13 God's promise to Abram was not fulfilled. 15:18

# God promises to make Isaac's descendents as numerous as "the stars of heaven", which, of course, never happened. The Jews have always been, and will always be, a small minority. 26:4

# God renames Jacob twice (32:28, 35:10 ). God says that Jacob will henceforth be called Israel, but the Bible continues to call him Jacob anyway (47:28-29). And even God himself calls him Jacob in 46:2. 32:28, 35:10

# God calls Jacob Jacob, though he said in Gen.32:28 and 35:10 that he would no longer be called Jacob but Israel. 46:2

# God promises to bring Jacob safely back from Egypt, but Jacob dies in Egypt (Gen.47:28-29) 46:3

# The tribe of Judah will reign "until Shiloh," but Israel's first king (Saul) was from the tribe of Benjamin (Acts 13:21), and most of the time after this prophecy there was no king at all. 49:10

# "He washed his garments in wine ... His eyes shall be red with wine."

Did Judah really wash his clothes in wine? Were his eyes bloodshot from drinking too much? Or is this a prophecy of Jesus? (I didn't know Jesus had a drinking problem.) 49:11-12

# Contrary to the prophecy in 48:21, Joseph died in Egypt, not Israel. Gen.50:24

Exodus

# God promises to cast out many nations including the Canaanites and the Jebusites. But he was unable to fulfill his promise. 33:2

# In this verse God says he will write on the stone tablets, but in 34:27 he tells Moses to do the writing. 34:1

Leviticus (None)

Numbers

# "If there be a prophet among you, I the LORD will ... speak unto him in a dream." Now there's a reliable way to communicate with someone! 12:6

Deuteronomy

# God promises to cast out seven nations including the Amorites, Canaanites, and the Jebusites. But he was unable to fulfill his promise. 7:1

# God says that the Israelites will destroy all of the peoples they encounter. But according to Joshua ( 15:63, 16:10, 17:12-13) and Judges (1:21, 27-36, 3:1-5) there were some people they just couldn't kill. 7:24

# Those who do as God says will never be infertile (neither will their cows!) and will never get sick. 7:14-15

# Prophets and dreamers are to be executed if they say or dream the wrong things. 13:1-5

# False prophets are to be (you guessed it) executed. How do you know who is a false prophet? By whether or not their predictions come true. (Watch out Jehovah's Witnesses!) 18:20

# Misquoted in Rom.10:8. 30:14

# God promises to "destroy these nations before thee." That he didn't keep his promise see Jos.15:63, 16:10, Jg.1:21, 1:27-36, and 3:1-5. 31:3-6

Joshua

# God promises to give Joshua all of the land that his "foot shall tread upon." He says that none of the people he encounters will be able to resist him. But later we find that God didn't keep his promise, and that many tribes withstood Joshua's attempt to steal their land. 1:3-5

# Joshua tells the Israelites that God will "without fail" drive out the Canaanites and the Jebusites. But later, the Bible tells us that he could not drive them out. 3:10

# This verse says that Ai was never again occupied after it was destroyed by Joshua. But Nehemiah (7:32) lists it among the cities of Israel at the time of the Babylonian captivity. 8:28

# God promised the Israelites that he would drive out all the inhabitants of the lands they pass through. But this verse shows that he didn't keep his promise since he couldn't drive out the Jebusites. 15:63

# "And they drave not out the Canaanites." Once again God fails keep his promise to destroy all the people the Israelites encounter. 16:10

# The Israelites, contrary to God's promises to them, could not drive out the Canaanites. 17:12-13

# Joshua tells Manasseh that he will be able to drive out the Canaanites, but it turns out (see Jg.1:27-28) that he couldn't do it. 17:17-18

# According to these verses, God fulfilled his promise to give the Israelites all of the lands that they encountered. But in several places the Bible tells us that these promises were not kept. 21:43-4]

#

Judges

# God promised many times that he would drive out all the inhabitants of the lands they encountered. But these verses show that God failed to keep his promise since he was unable to drive out the Canaanites. 1:21, 27-30

# God promised many times that he would drive out all the inhabitants of the lands they encountered. But these verses show that God failed to keep his promise since he was unable to drive out the Canaanites. 3:1-5

Ruth (None)

1 Kings

# God puts a "lying spirit" in the mouth of his prophets. 22:22

# In Jeremiah (34:4) God tells Zedekiah that he will die in peace and be buried with his fathers. But this verse and Jer.52:10-11 say that he died a violent death in a foreign land. 25:7

1 Chronicles (None)

2 Chronicles

# God puts lies into the mouths of his prophets and speaks evil about people. 18:21-22

Psalms

# Misquoted in Heb.10:5-6. 40:6

# Misquoted in Eph.4:8, which says: "Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men."

Paul changed the words and meaning of the psalm from "received gifts" to "gave gifts". 68:18

# Misquoted in Mt.13:35. 78:2-3

# "I have sworn unto David my servant, Thy seed will I establish for ever, and build up thy throne to all generations." But the Davidic line of Kings ended with Zedekiah; there were none during the Babylonian captivity, and there are none today. 89:3-4, 34-37

#

Isaiah

# God told Isaiah to tell Ahaz, the King of Judah, not to be concerned about Rezin (the king of Syria) or Pekah (the king of Israel). But according to 2 Chr.28:5-6 "God delivered him [Ahaz] into the hand of the king of Syria; and they smote him, and carried away a great multitude of them captives, and brought them to Damascus. And he was also delivered into the hand of the king of Israel, who smote him with a great slaughter." 7:3-7

# The King James Version mistranslates the Hebrew word "almah", which means "young woman" as "virgin". (The Hebrew word, "bethulah", means "virgin".) In addition, the young woman referred to in this verse was living at the time of the prophecy. And Jesus, of course, was called Jesus -- and is not called Emmanuel in any verse in the New Testament. 7:14

# These verses falsely predict that Babylon will never again be inhabited. 13:19-20

# Dragons will live in Babylonian palaces and satyrs will dance there. 13:21-22

# This verse prophesies that Damascus will be completely destroyed and no longer be inhabited. Yet Damascus has never been completely destroyed and is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities. 17:1

# The river of Egypt (identified as the Nile in RSV) shall dry up. This has never occurred. 19:5

# "The land of Judah shall be a terror unto Egypt." Judah never invaded Egypt and was never a military threat to Egypt. 19:17

# This verse predicts that there shall be five cities in Egypt that speak the Canaanite language. But that language was never spoken in Egypt, and it is extinct now. 19:18

# These verses predict that the Egyptians will worship the Lord (Yahweh) with sacrifices and offerings. But Judaism has never been an important religion in Egypt. 19:18-21

# These verses predict that there will be an alliance between Egypt, Israel, and Assyria. But there has never been any such alliance, and it's unlikely that it ever will since Assyria no longer exists. 19:23-24

# "They have ... changed the ordinance. There is a crying for wine in the streets; all joy is darkened, the mirth of the land is gone."

Is this a prophecy about prohibition in the United States? 24:5-11

# "The priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink." You can't even trust a drunken prophet anymore. 2

Reply:for one you misquoted the chronicles and kings one the actual verse in chronicles that your talking about is.

Jehoahaz [a] was twenty-three years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem three months

then the kings one is

Jehoiachin was eighteen years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem three months

another words their two different people

I think you purposely did that to fit your message

about the others I can explain them but I doubt you will have the patience for me to do so.

heres the answer for the other

At first glance it looked like a contradiction. But what is a "bath"? And what is a "molten sea"? A "bath" is a unit of measurement that is equivalent to 8 gallons of water. While the "molten sea" is a very large brass pan, in which they put water for the priests to wash in. 1 Kings describe how much the molten sea was usually filled, it was 2,000 baths. 2 Chronicles specified the capacity of the molten sea when filled to the brim, which was 3,000 baths. Therefore both passages are correct. I will do further research on this and will add to it if you are willing to come back and read.

I suggest you go here%26gt;%26gt;%26gt; http://www.thebereans.net/contra-main.sh...

Reply:An answer to the person who said your Qur'an is full of them too...

Firstly,

Christians who died at the time of Jesus are considered Muslims becuz they believed in their prophet during their time..so they die believers and go to heaven!

christian s who die now are considered non-muslims coz they do not believe in the last prophet during their time..so they die non-believers!

Logic tells u that it's correct..
Reply:Yes, it's a contradiction. Don't worry, your quran has them too.

Reply:The bible has more in common with mother goose and humpty dumpty, they are fables
Reply:Those things might trouble me if application of the significant things in the bible to peoples lives did not work so well, miraculously and consistently.
Reply:The Bible has many seeming contradictions within its pages. For example, the four Gospels give four differing accounts as to what was written on the sign that hung on the cross.

“And above His head they put up the charge against Him which read, ‘THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS’.”

—Matthew 27:37

“The inscription of the charge against Him read, ‘THE KING OF THE JEWS’.”

—Mark 15:26

“Now there was also an inscription above Him, ‘THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS’.”

—Luke 23:38

“Pilate also wrote an inscription and put it on the cross. It was written, ‘JESUS THE NAZARENE, THE KING OF THE JEWS’.”

—John 19:19

Those who are looking for contradictions may therefore say, “See—the Bible is full of mistakes!” and choose to reject it entirely as being untrustworthy.

However, those who trust God have no problem harmonizing the Gospels. There is no contradiction if the sign simply said, “This is Jesus of Nazareth the King of the Jews.”

The godly base their confidence on two truths: 1) “all Scripture is given by inspiration of God” (2 Timothy 3:16); and 2) an elementary rule of Scripture is that God has deliberately included seeming contradictions in His Word to “snare” the proud. He has “hidden” things from the “wise and prudent” and “revealed them to babes” (Luke 10:21), purposely choosing foolish things to confound the wise (1 Corinthians 1:27).

If an ungodly man refuses to humble himself and obey the gospel, and instead desires to build a case against the Bible, God gives him enough material to build his own gallows.

This incredible principle is clearly illustrated in the account of the capture of Zedekiah, king of Judah. Jeremiah the prophet told Zedekiah that God would judge him. He was informed that he would be “delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon” (Jeremiah 32:4). This is confirmed in Jeremiah 39:5-7 where we are told that he was captured and brought to King Nebuchadnezzar, then they “bound him with chains, to carry him to Babylon.”

However, in Ezekiel 12:13, God Himself warned, “I will bring him to Babylon …yet he shall not see it, though he shall die there” (emphasis added). Here is material to build a case against the Bible! It is an obvious mistake. Three Bible verses say that the king would go to Babylon, and yet the Bible in another place says that he would not see Babylon. How can someone be taken somewhere and not see it? It makes no sense at all—unless Zedekiah was blinded. And that is precisely what happened. Zedekiah saw Nebuchadnezzar face to face, saw his sons killed before his eyes, then “the king of Babylon… put out Zedekiah's eyes” before taking him to Babylon (Jeremiah 39:6,7).

This is the underlying principle behind the many “contradictions” of Holy Scripture (such as how many horses David had, who was the first to arrive at the tomb after the resurrection of Jesus, etc.).

God has turned the tables on proud, arrogant, self-righteous man. When he proudly stands outside of the kingdom of God, and seeks to justify his sinfulness through evidence he thinks discredits the Bible, he doesn't realize that God has simply lowered the door of life, so that only those who are prepared to exercise faith, and bow in humility may enter.

It is interesting to note that the seeming contradictions in the four Gospels attest to the fact that there was no corroboration between the writers.

God bless and take care.
Reply:Obviously the mistakes are intentional and put in to test us.

No, wait, Satan interfered with the Spirit in time of writing.

No, they are actually true despite looking like contradictions.

No, it's all in your mind because you don't have the Holy Spirit.

Wait, let me just distract you, then tell you why there is God.

You can't understand God. God's math is not human math.

I think I about covered all the answers, surprise me.

How do I get rid of lilies of the vally?

My garden is a mess with these, that grows up every year.

I want to plant soemthing else but they won't go away. Uprooting them does not help.

How do I get rid of lilies of the vally?
Try Round-up or Ranger. Their active ingredient is sodium (sodium and the adjuvent clog the pores responsible for gas exchange, essentially suffocating the plant - roots and all).
Reply:Send them to me. Round up should work well. Boiling water is another.
Reply:send them to me, they are beautiful and smell lovely, keep them and chop them down after flowering if you get sick of them
Reply:Because you are not getting all the roots. You very well may need to take everything out of your garden, and deep till the soil, turning it very thoroughly. Black plastic securely put over all the turned soil for at least three weeks. After, any show their determined heads, decimate them with a herbicide.

These lillies put out lateral roots and very difficult to clear.
Reply:you have to make sure that you get the roots and all out of the ground.
Reply:Dang, I can't get lilies of the valley to grow in my yard.

I heard they multiply fast, so when you uproot them, it really gets rid of one but 2 more grow.
Reply:You should pour boiling water on them, it will kill them.

What month am i suppose to replant my calla lilies?

Last year when they became dormant i placed the bulbs in some sawdust and i've noticed they have been sproting a little. I live in toronto, Canada...when should i put them outside in the soil again?

What month am i suppose to replant my calla lilies?
For Toronto, you should plant Callas between the third week in May and first week in June. Enjoy. They're beautiful flowers.
Reply:I live in California, so we leave ours planted all year. Mine are blooming now, if that helps you any. I would imagine if the ground is not frozen, you should be able to plant them. I know it's normally warm here most of the time, but we had some cold (for us) nights there - down into the 30s, and they didn't care much for that. So, if your temps are higher than 40, I'd say you should be able to plant them now. Enjoy, I love Calla Lilies!
Reply:Do not put them out until it is no longer freezing at night, You did a good job of keeping them over the winter do not kill them now.

Day lilies, Can they be mowed down?

I have daylilies by my garage, I know I used to mow them down at the farm but I am wondering if they will come back for me if I mow them this year. I live in Central IL and we have harsh winters. Please give my you expert advice.

PS I do not know the species but they are orange and I have 3 clumps of them in a bed about 6 foot by 3 foot.

Thanks in advance.

Day lilies, Can they be mowed down?
By all means, yes!

This is an ideal time to cut back daylillies.

This is a good time to clean-up the area they've been growing, and, this is a great time to dig up, divide, and replant to increase your garden size, or give away.

Being that they will be dormant ,"above" ground, gives their tubers a chance to settle in to a new location before/until and if the ground truly freezes hard this winter.

Dividing them now will give you the opportunity to cull out small tubers and thin-out over-crowded areas.

I'm in No. IL, zone 5., that's what I do.

Mulch if you desire, but they are really hardy.

Hope this helps, Dave
Reply:Sure, mow them down. They are a bulb, and should come back next spring.
Reply:Yes. Mowed down, cut off, trampled on, burnt, once you've got them they are difficult to get rid of, any bits of the roots left in act as cuttings.
Reply:You could mow them down, but make sure you mulch the top to protect to make sure they come back for you. You could also let them fade on their own and the leftover will be a natural mulch. in the spring when you see the growth starting to sprout----just pull up the dead leaves. Theyu should come up quite easily. Since you have really cold winters----I would protect them with either fallen leaves, pine needles, or hay straw to protect the tuber.
Reply:At my home...YES!!!

ALL/ANYTHING can be mowed or, Weed Be Gone'd, LOL!!!

Actually after mowing ALL down 2 summers in a row...ALL came back!!! Prettier than prior???
Reply:On any bulb plant, they gather their energy for the next year through the green that is left after they bloom. I would clip all the dead brown off, as it has no purpose once the green is gone. Never let them go to seed. After each bloom, cut the top off and the energy goes to the bulb. If you have the original old fashioned orange, they grow here where old homesteads used to be, totally neglected and always are beautiful to drive by and look at. We are zone 5. Once they are brown, cut them down. Next year the new growth won't have to try to push through that, also you won't have bugs nesting in the decaying foliage. I used to have a full collection of hybrids and the old fashioned. I moved, but went and got some old fashioned ones. I tend to neglect them, but they are beautiful and thriving, getting thicker each year.
Reply:Sounds like you have tiger lilies. They are almost impossible to get rid of. They reproduce form tubers under the soil, so as long as there is a tuber under the ground, they should come back. I would thin them in spring so your garden doesn't get taken over.

Back-stabber?

this girl named cortney, who used to be like my best friend but then we got in this BIG HUGE fight because of my ex-friend, lily. Me and courtney are friends again but she keeps pissing me off...

She was going out with this guy named andrew that my best friend victoria likes A LOT and has liked for a looooong time!!!

but andrew dumped cortney...

Now cortney is going out with jaden who i am i LOVE with and i have loooove for like 2 years!!!

i hate her. do you think it's messed up that she keeps dating the guys that we like???

Back-stabber?
Get 3 of your closest friends and surround her. After that, tell her your raw feelings. She'll feel intimidated, and have no way out.
Reply:first of all, did she ask the guys out or did they ask her out

and also, does she know that you and ur friend like*d* those guys??

if she asked them, she is soooooo not ur true friend and if she knows that u guys like those guys, she is also soooooooooo not ur true friend
Reply:HELL NO!.....IT"S every women for themselfs

that's what you get for not getting him first.

if you did...you'll wouldn't be in that shid in the first place.
Reply:Well if she doesnt know you like them then its not her fault. But if she does know then she isnt your true friend!!
Reply:i have a friend like that shes just trying to make you jealous dont fall for it
Reply:maybe you should tell her. just call her over, you know just hang out at ur house and talk to her. and tell ur freind victoria to come too. if u guys are freinds, that u guys have to talk to each other with honesty. you cant be her freind and just say that u hate her. you are being a bad freind, as well as she. you haev to talk to her. communication is best. if she didnt noe that u guys liked her, then u cant blame her for anything, that would be YOUR and ur freinds fault becuase u guys didnt tell her. BUT if u guys told her that u guys like him or w.e and she still went out with him, THEN u have a reason to be mad at her, but not hate her. you have to remember that these things happen, and that you dont want to do anything that you will regret. becuase you know wat? life goes on and u find other guys and then ur gonna be like "omggggg i love himm soo muchh!" blah blah.. so dont stresh over some guy like this please, because it is the first step in ruining a freind's freindship.

so just talk to her calmly and tell her how you feeel ok?

hope it works out for you :]

How do I bring up masturbation with my best friend?

I'm 13. I have a really good friend who's a girl and 13 as well- we have known each other for 4 years, and I know I don't really have romantic feelings towards her: also, I'm not really 100% lesbian, since I like boys and have had some boyfriends which I really and truly, romantically liked. Anyway, ever since this fall, I've been noticing that I like to fantasize on my best friend and I started to 'accidentally' touch her boobs and a.s.s. I like how it feels! Anyway, I want to know if she fingers herself and if she wants to try it together. How should I ask her? I know some friends talk about it but I'm so shy!

Oh, and if you're going to bullshit me with the whole 'you're too young' please don't even bother replying.

Thank you,

Lily

How do I bring up masturbation with my best friend?
well since you touched her azz and boobs already, invite her to a quite night in your room, put in some DVD's turn out the lights and make your move.... she'll let you do what ever you want.... she's curious too...
Reply:Lmao!! I've never done that with my friend. I wouldn't find some other lesbo.
Reply:that's a hard thing to just bring up... ummm, i truly don't know but i hope it works out... ;-) GOODLUCK!!!

and, have fun!
Reply:how has she responded? does she seem to want to touch you also? it could be that you are bisexual and a lot of people during there teen years like to experiment with the same gender, it is totally normal. i would see first how she is responding to you and if you think she feels the same way bring up masterbation in general and see how she takes it....then when you're alone just say it
Reply:i agree with rob i think she is curious also make ur move dont be so pushy about the situation tho take ur time think carefully and than make ur move good luck

Do I Cut Off the Dead flower heads?

I bought white lilies, and i wasn't sure if i should cut the dead flower head of these type of flowers. How soon will flower grow back this year?

Do I Cut Off the Dead flower heads?
you get ONE bloom per year.... they will not bloom again this year.... but if you plant them outside in sunlight and good draining soil, then next year, you'll have more..... when all the flowers have wilted and you've removed them, plant the green stems and leaves carefully and let them turn brown and die off naturally... they'll feed the bulbs so that next year's flowers will be big and booful.....
Reply:Yes, the dead flower heads will still pull water/food away from the rest of the living plant so it is best to remove them. I am not sure on how soon they go back though.
Reply:cut the head before it sucks the life out of the rest of the plant!
Reply:Yes can cut the dead blooms off.Leave the plant to die back on its own.It will turn brown.Cut this all the way down to the dirt.Needs to rest for a bit.Don't have to water very much, just a little. When new shoots appear, then replant into a larger pot or outdoors if soil is warm.Water throughly and keep watering as needed.Out side in a garden they get between 3-5 feet tall, covered with blooms.I grow Easter lilies of many colors. They winter here in WI and come back each year.

Trying for another child--baby names advice?

For a boy, we like Isaiah Michael Phoenix. Isaiah is my fiance's favourite book of the Bible (but we're not religious), Michael is my fiance's name, and Phoenix is a name we like.

For a girl, he likes Isis Maria. Isis is the name of one of his favourite bands and Maria is my grandmother's name.

The girl's name I like is Savannah Maria Cate. With Savannah, he like Savannah Lilianna Cate. Savannah is beautiful, and also the name of a song by one of his favourite bands, Lilianna is a combo of names we like (Lily for me, Anna, pro. Aw-na for him), and Cate we just love.

Our daughter's name is Zoe Delenda Jade. He has loved Zoe for years, Delenda was the name of an album by one of his favourite bands, released the day we found out we were pregnant with her and Jade is one I love.

Can you tell that he is a very musical guy?

Anyway, what do you think of our boys name, and what girl's name is better? Do they fit with our daughter's name?

Trying for another child--baby names advice?
Your daughter has a beautiful name, "Zoe Delanda Jade". It is reminiscent of my daughter's name: "Renee Ava Jade" so I guess I'm biased ;] I love the way the syllables flow together and think this would be great to mirror in your new baby's name. "Zoe Delanda Jade" [2-3-1] - it sounds fantastic. For this reason, I think Savannah Lilianna Cate, [3-4-1] and "Lilianna" is a personal favourite name of mine. Maria is also timeless and beautiful, the decision shall be tricky!

"Savannah Isis Cate" sounds lovely too - in fact, I would be inclined to use this combination to incorporate the personal meaning related to your partner choosing "Isis" and "Savannah" is a name you both love. Cate sounds simply charming on the end!

For a little boy, "Michael Phoenix" has a nice ring to it, I would be more inclined to go with "Micah Phoenix", another Biblical name, just for some difference, but I can see why choosing "Michael" would be significant in echoing Daddy's name. Hope this helps a bit! Good luck with your new addition :]
Reply:Don't do the name Isis. That sounds terrible! I like the name Isaiah and Savannah.
Reply:Isaiah Michael Phoenix

Savannah Maria Cate
Reply:The boys' name is perfect! Isaiah is a great first name, and I like that it is meaningful to your husband. I love the idea of naming kids after family members, so Michael is definitely an excellent middle name choice. And Phoenix is unusual but very cool. I'm glad you chose to use Isaiah as the first name -- it's not as common as Michael, so he won't grow up with several other friends with the same name, but it's not as unusual as Phoenix, and sometimes kids want a more "normal" name when they are growing up.

Your girls' names are nice as well. I think Savannah Maria Cate sounds better than Savannah Lilianna Cate, and I like that you would be naming your daughter after your grandmother. However, the name Savannah borders pretty-but-overused for me. (It ranked #30 last year.) Because of that, if you and your husband are the daring type, I would almost advise you to go with Isis. It is definitely the more interesting choice, so my aesthetic sensibilities are pointing me in that direction. However, your daughter honestly might find the name Savannah easier to "wear," especially when she is young and in school. If you name her Isis, I could imagine her coming to you and complaining, "Mom, why couldn't you have given me a normal name like Madison or Emily?" The name Isis might be one of those names she wouldn't appreciate until she was older, but a lot of that depends on your future daughter's personality, and if you explain to her why you chose the name, she might like having a name that is unique and special.

Oh, and all the names sound just fine with Zoe Delenda Jade.

Good luck!
Reply:i like isaiah michael phoenix

He is just everything i look for in a guy and .. i cant describe it! Is it love? I wonder if it is because he was my first real crush? However, he is now 26 and im 18 and i dunno if this is too big an age gap? I dunno whether to show my feelings for fear of embarrassment and rejection. Obama hillary intresting question?

I recently asked this question. People always say they like Obama because he is for change, while Hillary is criticize about how she is and will change the world. What has Obama done in his years of politics, compare to what Hillary has already done? What I am really tring to ask is, why are so many people for obama when he really has not done much, while Hillary has done so much???

One respone was, ..." The fact that he hardly has any credentials is basically his main setback, but I guess he has to start somewhere," said Lily

My question to this response is, why would we want Obama to start his credentials in the White House?

I like the guy, but I dont think he is ready..

Obama hillary intresting question?
Obama actually has more "elected" experience than Hillary having served two terms in the Illinois senate before being elected to the US senate.

He was a community activist and civil rights attorney prior to that.

Most of his adult life has been spent helping other people.

Obama '08
Reply:Literally 2/3 of Clinton's experience consists of being first lady of Arkansas or the US. Not as impressive as it might be as a training ground to be president.

Obama 2008
Reply:What has Hillary done???? Watched her husband!!! She didn't build her political career herself!!!
Reply:yeah - we'll need you to list the specifics on Hillary's great accomplishments. Are you referring to her support for taking our troops to Iraq?
Reply:Perhaps the answer lies within the intellectual capacity of the candidates.

Who has Gravitas? Who has Chutzpah?

Perhaps mocking the oratory of Obama is an easy way to cover up gross shortcomings of your own.
Reply:You got that wrong, Obama was a 10 year constitutional law professor at the University of Chicago, was a State Legislator for 8 years in Illinois, and currently is 3 years in the U S Senate. That alone gives you 21 years of constitutional experience. He was a community leader before all of that in the streets of Chicago, where he helped the poor and those that needed assistance in living. He has the compassion and the experience to make decent decisions (like not calling on a pre-empted war as George Bush did, and Hillary Clinton, and John McCain). He is very ready.

Obama '08
Reply:I believe what you see is what you get. Hillary is a fighter. She'll do whatever it takes to win. She'll get down and dirty, to conjure up votes. Obama wants to be a uniter and not go negative. For the most part, you have seen him resist.

Now that Hillary has insulted his manhood, he is putting up a fight. Don't know a male on the planet who wouldn't.

How Hillary fights is a big turn off. Bush did the same thing to McCain, and look what happened. Bush played dirty in office too. No reason to believe that Hillary won't continue playing dirty in DC. I don't have the stomach for another 4 years of a Clinton.
Reply:it is not about wrong or right: it is about black and white.

Chinchillas, how do you keep them?

Ok two years ago i had two chinchillas in under three weeks.

The first one was named Holly but she had a hernia and died in operation.

Then the second one was Lily, but I woke up one morning to find her dead. I dont know what she died from... and ever since then i never want another chinchilla. Even though i love them!

How do you look after them? I had the food, the sand, the water. I dont know what i did wrong with the second one- or are they just really hard to keep?

Chinchillas, how do you keep them?
I'm really not sure why Lily would have died. Chins are delicate, but hardier than say, a hamster-- after all they have ten times the lifespan of a hamster, and come from the Andes-- so they don't typically just up and die the way hamsters tend to.

Where did you get your chinchillas? They may have been bred under unhealthy conditions, and Lily may have had some pre-existing issue. Or, perhaps she had hurt herself badly in some way that wasn't superficially undetectable, or she wasn't eating/drinking for some reason, and you didn't notice?
Reply:I've never kept one, but I recall reading that chinchillas must not be kept in a room where there's a TV because the sound it emits (not the volume, but the TV itself) is distressing for them.
Reply:Well, chinchillas are nocturnal...so you will always need things for them to jump, climb, crawl through, and run in. They are like big hamsters...

Secondly, i dont suggest sand, because the can eat it. Sand is not digestable by a majority of animals. In fact, sand itself is usually what you get from crushed shells/coral and parrotfish poop.

Use regular bedding, or even fake grass. Heck, you REAL grass if you can.

And always feed them dried raisin snacks. once ro twice a day to keep them healthy. Regualr food. Regualr water..
Reply:CHINS NEED LOTS OF CARE THEY ARE NOCTERNAL. THEY ALSO NEED A SPACE TO RUN THEY LIKE TO CLIMB AND JUMP THEY ALSO LIKE FRUIT AND CRACKERS AS TREATS. THEY NEED TO BE BATHED THEY HAVE A SPECIAL DUST BATH THEY SHOULD HAVE AS THEIR COATS GET GREASY FROM ALL THE HANDELING THEY HAVE A FLOATING RIB CAGE SO YOU NEED TO BE CAREFUL WHEN PICKING THEM UP IT IS BETTER TO GRAB THEM BY THEIR TAIL AND THEN PUT THEM INTO YOUR HAND SO YOU ARE NOT GRABING THEM AROUND THEIR RIBS
Reply:I think you may have gotten your 2 chins from a poor source. I am sorry you have had those terrible issues with chinchillas.

It could have been stress related, due to poor house prior to you buying them, or just bad breeding practices by BYB.

Chins are not really that hard to keep, if you meet the few needs as far as air/temps/conditions, food/water and proper cages. Breeding and bad habitat are the only things that I can think of that could have played a part in your problems. These were not caused by you, and making different choices next time, if you decide to get another chin, should make a big difference. Find a reputable breeder in your area. I would be happy to help.

What role should I play in my girlfriend's kids' lives?

I have been with my girlfriend for 4 years now and she is pregnant with our baby. It will be my first but she already has 2 from a previous relationship. Lily is 7 and Mia is 5. I love them both and they are absolutely gorgeous girls. They are so sweet and funny and really respectful. But I don't know what role I should play in their lives. At the moment I am their friend. I am fine with that but their dad was a complete jerk and they've never had a real male role model. When my girlfriend and I have our baby, I'm obviously going to be a dad to it so will the girls feel strange about it? Should I start to be more like a father to them? My girlfriend is really supportive and says I can have any role in their life I want. I know the girls would be fine if I started acting like a father to them because they are both really well behaved so I wouldn't need to tell them off but like when they're older I might have to be protective. I just don't know what I should do. Anyone got any ideas?

What role should I play in my girlfriend's kids' lives?
First off, Kudos for you to stepping up to the plate for these 2 little girls, they obivoulsy need a strong male role model in their lives. If your comfortable, sit them down and tell them that in your eyes they are your daughters and if they want to call you "dad" or "daddy" they can, but don't force them to call you that. Lily may see you as her "dad'' but she's also old enough to know that your not her biological dad. You have been in Mia's life since she was one right? I think she sees you as her "daddy". To be honest I think they both see you as their "dad", consider it an honour. Also when you sit them down and explain just because your having a baby with their mother, that they are just as much your daughters as they were before the baby came into the world. Is their bio father still in their lives? If not, maybe ask your gf if you could adopt the girls, I doubt your girlfriend would have a problem with this. Regardless of what happens to you and your girlfriend, YOU are the DAD to these 2 young girls, and you will set the example of what they will look for when they start dating. Be good to them and in their hearts and minds you will be their "daddy'' for life. Also sit down with your girlfriend and set out rules and guidlines, that way there is no confusion. Don't treat Lily and Mia, any differently then your biological child, and don't favour Mia/Lilly over your biochild either. Make sure you take Lili/Mia on "Daddy-Daughter dates", so that they do get some of your undivided attention.
Reply:If you plan on staying with your girlfriend you could always get married and adopt her kids, if their dad gives up his parental rights. Kids are more likely to listen to you if you are a step-parents rather than just their parent's b/f or g/f. I had that problem with my step-kids before my husband and I got married. Try to treat them the same as you treat your own child so their is no jealousy issues.
Reply:If you and your girlfriend are going to eventually get married you should start fathering those girls now. You have already been around four years so it is likely that they already look at you like a father. When your new baby gets here just make sure the girls know that all five of you are a family and that they are the bigger, older sisters. With calling the new baby sister/brother, and having mommy be around, maybe it could be around the right time to throw out a "daddy loves you" to Lily and Mia. Never hurts to start too soon. Good luck!
Reply:I would most definitely treat all three children the same. If you act differently with your biological child, your girlfriend's children might start to feel slighted. You own child might even grow jealous of them when he/she gets older because they can get away with things that you would never let fly with your own kid. Since they are well behaved as you say, it sounds like it would be a fairly simple transition - one they might not even notice, specially since they are young enough to not remember much of life before you came into it. Adoption is also a good idea to consider if you plan on making your family a permenant one.
Reply:well my older sisters fiance treats me like a mate and thats good enough for me
Reply:What does gay marriage have to do with you two?

any how, your showing them a male role as it is.

You can start by showing them you care by being a parent.

Make them follow rules. even though you say their good girls, all kids need a parent to step in on different things.
Reply:It sounds like you have a very lovely, very happy family relationship here. You say the girls have not had a real male role model, but if you've been in their lives for four years now, you have been their male role model, if not their father. You will have something with which to bond further with them when you all welcome the new baby---your child, their sibling. Don't emphasize the "half" status. It's pretty immaterial.

Good fathers don't discipline their kids by telling them off. Discipline isn't something that necessarily happens only after a mistake has been made by the kid. Discipline is a way of learning to behave that helps kids make good choices to avoid some of those mistakes. So you learn to focus on lessons in loving discipline vs. punishment and be a hugely positive force in their lives. Teaching them to be disciplined and make good choices is about as protective as a parent can hope to be, whether birth parent or acting custodial step parent. Don't bad mouth their real dad. Don't let your girlfriend do it in front of them, either. It just makes the kids have to choose, and sadly, they often choose the parent they hear being bad mouthed, out of loyalty and love. You sound like you all have a great shot at a happy life.
Reply:Have fun with them...thats great, but just amke sure that they know that however playful you are you are of a higher level to them and what you say does count.

I grew up in the city of compton, Raised by my grandmother

Her, My sister, And my brother was a family

They wasn't understanding me

So like a lot of other brothers

I broke off from them, And found my family in colors

All I ever wanted was to be accepted not rejected

And being a young gangsta you got respected

The compton unified schools I started wreckin

Gettin kicked out fast as I checked in

Deep down in my heart I always knew that this wasn't me

But then again, I always wanted to be O.G.

I started robbin houses and I came up on some gats

And now I'm makin snaps off pullin off jacks

Satan had me locked in chains

He controlled my brain

I went to jail for posession of sales of yayo

I maxed my time, 3 years and 2 months

This is my true testimony, Not a front

When I got outta jail, I was still in a rage

Cause my body was free but my mind was in a cage

I remember grandma saying, God can help

But I said yeah right, I can do it myself

Then out of the blue I got a call on the phone

It was my homie Kapone, He had a lick, It's on

Standing on crenshaw wit a gat, I heard a voice shout

If you go back this time, You won't make it out

I met a lady named Lily who offered me Christ

He changed my heart, He broke the yoke loc, He changed my life

He never left me lonely, That was my testimony

[Chorus:]

Testimony [x8]

[Verse 2: Mr. Solo]

Fornication on my mine 7, 24, And some mo'

The devil used girls for bait to hook the Solo

I would invite em on a late dinner date

But it was lust on my mind not the food on the plate, But wait

I was like a hound, Sniffin around, Nose to the ground

Diggin in any girl I found, The devil had me bound

Ditchin school to feed my hungry flesh

I had an A in fornication, But a F on my test, Oh yes

Being in bondage is a horrible state

I can't escape, Havin sex so much that I'm losin weight

Moms started noticing Satan's yoke her heart was broke

So she invited me to church, Loc

I didn't give God my trust

My heart was filled wit lust

I had conviction, But it seemed like sex was an addiction

No church for me, Satan made me believe I could stop on my own

But I started drifting farther from the throne

Conviction was strong, God won't leave me alone

In my mind I hear a bell

If I die, I'm goin to hell, Well

To get away, I kicked it wit my crew but I knew

You can live in a crowd, But when he's judging, It's him and you

True, But wit a demon 187 on my back, What can I do?

Knowin I ain't right

Fornicatin all day and couldn't sleep at night

I was thinkin if I laid down my head

Moms'll wake me up and find me dead

Now I needed to be delivered

My body shivered and quivered

Cause livin in sin is like 5 to 10 in the pen

So I gave my life to Christ and got born again

And I know he won't fake, Shake, Or forsake a friend

And since he came into my life, He never left me lonely

And that was my testimony

[Chorus x8]

[Verse 3: Chille Chill]

15 tryin to make it as a young hustler

I'm gettin mine, You get in my way, I'ma crush you busta

Me and a friend go half on the indo

Plus I'm gettin faded from that socco and gin yo

I'm a gang banger dope spot hanger

Chille Chill aka professional crack slanger

High as a kite thinkin everything is funny

Satan made me his dummy because my god was my money

[Yeah!] I started young livin, Life on the run son

Watchin my back wit my hand on that gun, gun

I had no piece runnin from the police

I got away for the mean while, But they had me on the gang file

Moms tryed her best to raise me right

But she didn't have the money to buy me khaki's, Gold, And Nike's

I'm on a mission, Clockin crazy tuition

Now the girls that were dissin are now the ones that I'm kissin

I wouldn't let God in

I chose the life of sin

Thinkin the friends that I had

Would stick through the good and the bad

But my birthday came and I got real drunk homie

I had a scrap and everybody jumped on me

I passed out, I don't know how I got home

But when I woke up, My high was gone

They stole everything from my money to that thing that beep

It makes me think it doesn't matter if you 6 feet deep

Jesus is lord and I'm convinced

Since he came into my life, I haven't drunk or sold dope since

Since he came into my life, I don't need no homies

And that was my testimony

Finding an agent (Oregon)?

Hey there!

I am looking to begin a film acting career, and I am 15 years old. I was wondering how I was to go about finding an agent? How do I audition for them, or better yet, who are the good agents in Oregon? How do I set up an audition... etc. What are some good agencies?

Thanks so much!

Lily

Finding an agent (Oregon)?
Heyy!

Well, first off, don't pay for agents--they're scams! Here, just to make it so much easier for you:

Murphy Management, Pacific Talent, Actors in Action, In Both Ears are just a few of the great agencies in Oregon.

It depends on their policy to set up something. They may have you call, fill out a submission form, or email. Good luck! Remember to never pay money upfront to an agency!

Pregnant cat question?

first of all- DON'T GET ALL RIGHTEOUS ON ME. She's not my cat. Thank you. =]

I am taking care of a stray cat named Lily, She's very, very pregnant. As in, I wouldn't be surprised at all if she had her kittens tomorrow. I've hooked up a babysitting job and i'll be making money, after she has her kittens and I have enough, i'll take her in to get spayed and have her shots, and try to rehome her.

But, my question is, How soon after she begins to produce milk(I don't mean actually lactating, I mean swelling and filling with milk) Do cats usually give birth?

I've seen a cat through birth two times before, but that was four years ago, and some things are hazy. We keep thinking 'tomorrow!' but it never is...

Pregnant cat question?
Bless you for taking care of Lily.

I had a very pregnant female stray many years ago, but she just wasn't sure she trusted me enough to handle her...but she came running when I set food out. We did this for about 3 weeks until one day she didn't come for her food. Finally the 3rd day she came and gobble a few bites and I watched where she kept looking and where she ran back to her babies. Good news, she allowed us to rescue her and her 5 tiny kittens from the weeds (in a cow field no less). She is the only pregnant female I've experienced.

I did find this link that says the queen is about to give birth..when milk discharges from the nipples. I don't know if that is any help, but this site appears to have some good info otherwise.

Also, if you are in the US, here is a list of free and low cost spay/neuter clinics arranged by state. I hope one of them is near you so you can help your little Lily.

Purrs to you and Lily.
Reply:Don't worry she takes care of it all! She should clean up after her self and her babies. I only had one kitty who did not and she stopped labor and I had to take her to a vet and he gave her a shot that brought on the contractions and she had two more. That is very rare. The nursing will begin right after the kittens are cleaned and they go right where they are supposed to go, I think they smell the milk. Just make sure she has a box big enough for her self and her babies and clean towels or blankets so you can change them after this all over, or even newspapers. I used an old play pen for the cat and her babies. FYI

What was that movie about the mermaid?

There was a movie about a mermaid I saw when I was a child (its a kids movie) (I think the tittle might have something to do with Lily or something like that) . One part of it was when she was inside this ancient building and she turned back into a mermaid and they had to carry her out and the door was closing. She almost got stuck.. Thanks sooo much I have been looking for this movie for YEARS!! TYYY

What was that movie about the mermaid?
The movie is called magic island. That was one of the best parts.

My baby's dad wants me to give him up?

I was 8 months pregnant and 19 years old when I told him. He knew that I was pregnant but didn't know it was his. I've already thought abotu it and I wanted to keep the baby and I told him that I told him that he didn't have to be involved but at least he would know. The reason why he wants me to give the baby up is because he still wants to be with me just not with a baby involved.

P.S I gave birth to a baby girl named Monica Lily DaCosta. She has her dad's last name.

My baby's dad wants me to give him up?
It doesn't work that way. My bf said something like that when he found out I was pregnant, he wanted me to get an abortion and then stay together. Not gonna happen. I told him the baby is now a permanent part of my life, so he has two equal choices, leave or stay and be a father. He's still with me today and he loves his son. But, if he left I would have accepted it and known it was for the best. Any man who wants you throw away your child (and his) so you can be together--is not a man. Take a look at my avatar and tell me that you would trade a wonderful life with a sweet baby like mine (and yours) for a selfish excuse for a man.
Reply:If you want to keep it. Why are you asking this question??

DUH!
Reply:He wants to be with you but not with the baby you created together? Do you want someone this selfish in your life? He doesn't want to be responsible, and he probably doesn't want to pay child support. Take care of you and your baby, and give HIM up.
Reply:I am so sorry to hear he is being so selfish. That is a horrible thing for him to say. You know, even if you love this guy and want to be with him, look at what he is saying- he obviously doesn't care about the child you made together and doesn't want to take responsibility. You don't need a person like this in your life or Monica's life. He doesn't deserve to have a child or a girlfriend. Move on and leave him way in the past. You can do much better. Congrats on your baby girl. You will be much happier without him in the long run.
Reply:A man's point of view:

He doesn't deserve to have a daughter (or to have you). Keep her and dump him.
Reply:Whats your question?

Anyways

Kick his *** to the curb, your child comes first. Do you really want to be with that bastard? He doesn't even want his own child. When you two break up, you wont have him or your baby. THIS IS A NO BRAINER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Reply:He is selfish and he was willing to play and look at the result a baby to love you and him (if he decides to be a part of the babies life) unconditionally. I think props to you for keeping the baby and if he doesn't want you make him pay for his child because especially at your age you will need help. Good Luck and if it gets worse than toss the trash to the curb. You deserve better and are a better person just for growing up and taking responsibility for what you created. Love that baby unconditionally and hug and kiss her because her life will fly by.
Reply:well he's selfish! he dont understand what something like that can do to a child! Remember that when she gets older it is gonna wanna kno whos it's real parents and the child will never forgive you for adopting it
Reply:WOW...just 23 hours ago you asked if you should tell this guy you were pregnant, and now you gave birth??? You are amazing...

Get a life and stop making crap up....
Reply:Never pick ANYONE especially a man even if its the father over your child. NEVER
Reply:Ok so he didn;t want the baby and you gave the baby his last name? Hmmmm does the baby deserve his last name? Uhhh NO! Get rid of this loser
Reply:Dont give up your baby just because this guy "says" he wants to be with you..that doesnt make sense at all. Sounds like a load of crap.. be strong and dont let this guy fool you...love your baby, thats all you need to do
Reply:Give up the ignorant father, not the baby. He sounds like a complete @ss. You have a bigger priority than him now, and that is your new baby girl (congrats by the way.) Id tell the selfish jerk to get lost. Good Luck!
Reply:congrats on ur baby...dont give up your baby for no one.. if he was a real man he would stand by you. you can so much better than that....having a baby is a gift...your baby deserves love. think long and hard but remember its your baby too. and its not the babys fault so dont punish it. you are still young you will find someone who will love you and ur child.
Reply:ok the first question says it is a boy and then your ps says you had a girl? which one is it
Reply:Keep the baby and get rid of him, for any man to say that to you to get rid of your own child just so he can be with you is a royal prick.

Your baby is more important then him and if he can't accept the two of you together then he's not worth your time and for him to say to give up his daugther that's just wrong.

There are other good men out there who will accept you and your daughter
Reply:It sounds very selfish of him that he wants to be with you and not wanting the responsibility. I would say that you should make the decision on your own. This is a child - a beautiful life that you have brought on to the world... don't give her up just because of this...

Harry Potter question?

Harry witnessed his parents' death, right? Or at least Lily's. Well, if he saw his parents die, then how come he couldn't see thestrals in his first four years at Hogwarts?

Harry Potter question?
Agree with above.

There are no gaps in J.K.Rowlings writting. The movies Depict different situations to the books. I think u ll find by thinking Harry actually witnessed the death of his mother, Lily is a result of seeing it put in front of you in the movie.

The book, u may see if u go back to it, never actually says Harry seen Lily die.

Question answered?

xxLL%26lt;3
Reply:well they didn't concentrate on what is drawing the carriage earlier.
Reply:I wondered this too when i first read the 5th book :)

Its because also he was too young to remember his parents death and he didnt understand that his parents died you see, Its like when you were a baby you cant remember things before you were at least three, yet alone understand that when someone falls to the floor not breathing, that maybe theyre dead. but then he saw cedric digory die, and he understood that he died, harry was told that his parents were murdered, he wouldnt have known otherwise.
Reply:Harry was asleep Lily ran toward Harry and Vol. told her to get out of the way in the book she is not carring himshe is btw. Harry and Vol. so Harry only HEARD Lily scream thats when he woke up.
Reply:First, he didn't see the Thestrals until his Fifth year, and only because he'd seen death up close, ie Cedric. Secondly, he was only a baby and the movies actually make it seem like he saw them, but he actually didn't. All he remembers is a green flash of light.
Reply:It's simply because he doesn't really remember his parents death, well really Lily's. All he remembers is green flashes of light and cruel laughter. He saw Cedric's death up quite close the night Cedric was murdered thats why Harry cud c the thestrals at the beginning of his fifth year, he had seen death up very close and it was still fresh in his mind.
Reply:i've asked myself that question as well, so I have 2 theories.

1) Harry didn't see Lily die because he was in the crib

I don't think this is likely because I think she was standing right in front of the crib when protecting him from Voldemort.

2) Harry was so young that he didn't understand what happened when his mother died, therefore he didn't "experience" her death.

I think in order to see the thestrals you would have to fully experience seeing someone die, as in comprehend what happened. So Harry couldn't see them until after Cedric was killed next to him in the graveyard.

Or... its a bit of a plot hole, haha :-)
