I really dont see how anyone could enjoy this movie.


It had no plot (well none obvious)


Bad cast


and boring as hell





i remember when it came out the only things people said that stood out was Spacey masturbating in the shower and the girl being covered with lilies.

Could someone tell me how a movie that bad could possible have gotten all the oscars in 2000? Green Mile was 1000000000000 times better.





I think those oscars were voted on by monkeys. the same monkeys who must have organized the next year's Superbowl half time show where they did "Walk this way"

uuummm they were roses not lilies and the idea of the movie was how f*@cked up our American families are

Reply:Let me guess you need the movie to come right out and spell everything for you so that you don't have to use what little brains you must have. First of all the first girl that answered you question was right, that's the plot, not all American families are not like some of the "Hollywood ending" movies are like, some are pretty messed up. Second the cast was fantastic. Spacey was as good as always, and Thora was off the hook with her performance. Plus the non-Hollywood ending was the greatest thing. Maybe, just maybe you should watch it again and this time open up you mind a little bit. Who knows maybe you will learn something.
