It grows about 4 feet tall with long green draping leaves and flowers a white lily type flower last of june/july. It came from an old house place about 25 years ago. It is about 4 feet around when all the leaves come up and dies down to the ground each winter.
What kind of plant do i have?
Sounds like an old fashioned garden amaryllis. I have some of those in my garden, they were planted 50 years ago and are still flourishing. I could not find a picture of it, but they come in colors ranging from pink to white and striped red and white varieties. NOT the naked lady or Belladona amaryllis or the bulb that we buy at Christmas.
Found it! It's true name is crinum.
