In Harry Potter Book 7 did they ever say the name of mention what Fluer and Bill were going to name their.....

daughter?


because at the end of the book i had no idea who they were talking about a Victoire until i looked it up online.


did they ever mention this name previously in the book?

i also dont fully understand why severus snape was so mean to Harry; is this because he saw Harry as James and wanted to releash his anger that Lily had married James instead of him? and loathed harry because he saw james through harry? and because he was a double agent with the voldemort?

Her name is mention I belive. And I to thst that Teddy was to old to be on the train. As for Snape it was his aanting Lust of Lilly that he hated Harry,Which was no so much as hate but more to the fact that when snape look at Harry he saw LILLY"S GREEN EYES snape's only true goal was to protect Lilly's Son at all cost

victoire is probably 17, so she is born 2 years after the main part of the story, and 17 years b4 the epilogue





teddy was probably just escorting her, his g/f, 2 years younger than he is, to the train

he hated james b/c he bullied him in school AND he got the girl





harry's appearance and much of his behavior reminded snape of james so he didn't take to much of a liking to harry, but i think that way way way deep down, snape had a soft spot for harry, even if he didn't want to recognize it, because harry's eyes, along with heart and his loyalty to his friends and how he is inside reminded him of the love of his life, lily

Reply:Okay I am going to start at the beginning of your question. No they didn't mention until the end of the book that Bill and Fleur's daughter was Victoire. They said it in the epilogue. No they didn't mention it before then.





Teddy is on the hogwart's express because he is saying goodbye to his girlfriend before she leaves and he doesn't see her again for a year. He is just saying good bye.





And you got it exactly right. Snape was mean to Harry because, he looked exactly like James and in Snape's mind Harry should have been his son so he is bitter because it didn't happen that way. Snape was stronger than anyone knew.

I guessed because Victoire sounds french lol:) and Teddy is not on the hogwarts express. he's at King's crossing. he went there because harry took him! remember harry is his godfather. He was so mean to harry because 1. he was acting and 2. he disliked him because he looked so much like the man he lost the woman he loved to.he looked like james. But he loved lily and harry had her eyes, so he never hated him.
Reply:first of all teddy was not going to hogwarts he only went on the train to meet victoire and victoire is Bill and Fleurs daughter. The thing about severus snape is that severus snape followed dumbuldores orders that once dumbuldore weakens after he drinks the potion to get the horocrux that snape should kill Dumbuldore so malfoy does not get killed by voldemort because then voldemort would think that malfoy couldnt kill dumboldore and voldy would kill malfoy!! and snape was only mean to harry so voldemort would not get a suspicion that snape was not on his side!!!
Reply:Actually in the book, James, Harry's son says that Teddy comes to the station to see her off, Victoire that is. (on pg605 I think)


So he must have started dating her while they were still in school or met her during the Weasley family dinners because he's almost a part of it.


Therefore, he has passed out but Victoire is still in Hogwarts as she is younger than him.


I don't think Victoire was ever mentioned earlier considering she only comes up in the future part. But J.K.Rowling did confirm about Victoire being Bill and Fleur's daughter on the net.





Severus Snape was mean to Harry because :


1. Harry was a Gryffindor


2. He was James Potter's son


3. Snape hated James Potter


4. He couldn't be seen being nice to anyone except the Slytherins even for appearances in front of Voldemort


5. He saw Harry as a reincarnation of James except for the eyes which was the only reason he felt obliged to help Harry and the Light Side as a form of retribution for not being able to save Lily.
