What do you think of my baby names?

I am expecting a baby in four months, i have decided


on


Samuel for a boy, and his middle name will be Chris or Christopher after my closest boy friend, who has been there for me for years.


If it is a girl i'm not sure, I like the names Isobel, Violet or Lily. I don't like names like chardonnay or things like that, but i'm not looking for everyday names like Olivia or Charlotte, i want something different, but there is a difference between individual and silly.

Reply:If you want something a bit unusual, don't go for Lily - there are three Lilys in my little boys class! I like Isobel and Violet, though. Very classic. I also like the names Ivy and Rosemary. Not too common these days, but quite elegant. Good luck with the birth!

I love the name Lily and was going to recommend it, but there is a movie (maybe a book too) called "Lilies of the Field." It is a little close to Lily Fielding. VIolet Fielding sounds great, and it is a very pretty but uncommon name.

Reply:If you don't want a common name then why isobel? Isabelle is a more common spelling but i think it is on the top 10 list right now.I know tons of baby "isabelles" and "isabellas". Violet is very pretty.
