What month am i suppose to replant my calla lilies?

Last year when they became dormant i placed the bulbs in some sawdust and i've noticed they have been sproting a little. I live in toronto, Canada...when should i put them outside in the soil again?

For Toronto, you should plant Callas between the third week in May and first week in June. Enjoy. They're beautiful flowers.
Reply:I live in California, so we leave ours planted all year. Mine are blooming now, if that helps you any. I would imagine if the ground is not frozen, you should be able to plant them. I know it's normally warm here most of the time, but we had some cold (for us) nights there - down into the 30s, and they didn't care much for that. So, if your temps are higher than 40, I'd say you should be able to plant them now. Enjoy, I love Calla Lilies!
Reply:Do not put them out until it is no longer freezing at night, You did a good job of keeping them over the winter do not kill them now.
