What would be a good friendship tattoo?

So my friend and I have been friends since 3rd grade, and she's always wanted to get a tattoo. I was going to go with her a couple of years ago when we turned 18, but I just couldn't do it. I kind of want to now though. What would be a really good friendship tattoo for the both of us? Not something matching though. Well, I guess it could be somewhat matching, just not something like "best" and "friends" because then we'd just look like idiots without each other there, you know? Something small, and something simple. We were thinking of our birth flowers, but mine's a daisy, hers is lily of the valley. They're not the prettiest flowers :P Any ideas? I know, I'm picky, but how could I not be with something liek this? =) It's not definite. Just looking for ideas.

Something cute would be intertwining vines with both of your flowers in them, and you could both get the same tattoo. Just make sure you will want it there for the rest of your life, even if you guys get in a fight and suddenly are not friends.

You could pick an artist that you both like and get a drawing or character of theirs...





Also, maybe something like this... I'm thinking with a heart and key on both of you, but maybe she has a heart key to and a star shaped lock, and you have a star key and a heart shaped lock...

And you guys DO have pretty flowers. You could get those. She gets a daisy and you get a lily of the valley. Then you could get each other's flowers. Something like that.

Reply:hmm you seemed to stump me on this one. If i was getting a tattoo i would make it personal to me not to a friend even though you are really good friends. tattos are suppose to be personal. Dont just get anything. its good your being picky.





When i was looking at tattoos I looked around the web. Also it doesnt hurt to go in and ask the artist for advice. He can help you find something. You dont have to get the tattoo as soon as you walk in. Do some shopping.
