Hi! I%26#039;m Lily, and six months pregnant with our second daughter, who is due in March. We have a two year old daughter, Charlotte Grace, and absolutely adore the name. Unfortunately, we can%26#039;t seem to find a name that we love as much as her name. What name out of these sounds the best with Charlotte Grace? Feel free to suggest other names, we need all the help we can get :) Thanks so much!
Emma
Emily
Olivia
Sophia
Hannah
Isabel
Ella
Elizabeth
Ruby
Thanks so much in advance :)
My second daughter?
I just love the name Charlotte Grace! It%26#039;s so pretty! Anyway... I like Hannah, Sophia, Emily, and Isabel. Try saying the names together...
Hannah and Charlotte
Sophia and Charlotte
Emily and Charlotte (these two are really cute together!)
Isabel and Charlotte
It%26#039;s your own personal preference, but all the names you have on your list are gorgeous!
Good luck and God bless!

Emma - yuk!
Emily - pretty but soooo common!
Olivia - Gorgeous! Goes well with Charlotte.
Sophia - Nice, don%26#039;t think it goes that well with charlotte though.
Hannah - Ok but not the nicest on the list.
Isabel - prefer isabella personally but Isabel goes well with Charlotte.
Ella - Umbrella ella ella is all i can think about!
Elizabeth - classic, but will always get shortened to Liz! Do you like that?
Ruby - will be outdated in a few years time

Reply:I really love good clean oldfashioned names. Not the old woman names like ellamay but timeless names. Charlotte Grace is beautiful and timeless. For her little sister, I suggest either Elizabeth Hope or Katherin Faith.
Reply:How about Hannah Faith
Reply:How about
Lily Olivia
Judith, ruby i really like
My fave names are
Kennedy, Harper, Kylie, and Emaline, and Kelly Ann
Reply:Congratulations!!!!
I like:
Emma Elizabeth
Ruby Elizabeth
Emily Elle
Ella Ryan
Reply:Charlotte and Ruby are gorgeous for sisters. ;) That would easily get my vote as the best-fitting name listed.
Elizabeth would be my second choice. As a timeless, rather than recently-revived, classic, it manages not to come across as trendy/overused or dated in any way. And the plethora of nickname options (Ella included, so I%26#039;d eliminate that as a separate name) helps it always seem %26quot;fresh.%26quot; You might also consider simply Eliza with Charlotte, by the way. That would be equally fitting. ;)
The others are all well-suited stylistically speaking, but miles apart in terms of common usage. Whereas Charlotte is a lovely familiar classic not even in the top 100, Emily, Emma, Isabel(la), Olivia, Hannah and Sophia are literally the larger majority of the top ten! I realize you mentioned popularity not being a concern, since you live in a small town at the moment, but that doesn%26#039;t mean it WON%26#039;T become an issue later in life, should you (or she) move, or even if she simply feels she got the short end of the naming stick since Charlotte has a less common name and she%26#039;s %26quot;stuck%26quot; with such a popular one. Children do think of these things, after all, so never a bad idea to stick with names whose styles AND usage are similar. Ruby, for example, is both stylistically fitting and VERY close in terms of popularity (137 compared to Charlotte%26#039;s 123). ;)
Others that might appeal:
Sophie - still a very-familiar feel, given nearly-identical Sophia%26#039;s popularity, but far less common as a given name (and very fitting with equally-French Charlotte)
Mary
Amelia/Emilia
Emeline/Emmeline
Eleanor/Nora(h)
Eloise
Lydia
Pearl
Daisy
Lucille/Lucy
Giselle
Elise
Vivian/Vivienne
Josephine
Georgia
Estelle/Stella
Aurora
Ivy
Iris
Penelope
Millicent
Genevieve
Gwendolen
Madeleine
Helen/Helena
Hazel
Alice
Jane
Flora
Freya
Imogen
Matilda
Isla
Most of those are between 100 and 500 in the states, so very fitting both in terms of pure usage and general style. ;) Hope it helps!
Reply:You have a great name list. Really nice names that aren%26#039;t too trendy and I love all of them with the exception of Emma, Emily and Ella, which are too trendy, and Ruby, which seems too...old-fashioned and a bit cutesy?
I would go with Isabel Olivia or Sophia Elizabeth. I would prefer Isabel spelt Isobel though, but it%26#039;s nice like that too. Those two pairs work really well together and they%26#039;re nice classic names too that really compliments a classic like Charlotte Grace. Classy and elegant names that are really pretty too.
Emily Hannah isn%26#039;t bad either, but it seems kinda trendy and popular to me, so I%26#039;ll stick with Isabel Olivia or Sophia Elizabeth. Gratz on your baby girl and good luck choosing a name!
Reply:I like that Emma Rose sounds great with Charlotte Grace.
Also try Hannah and Elizabeth. My neighbor%26#039;s daughter spells it %26quot;Elisabeth%26quot; which I equally adore. I also like Emily, Isabel and Sophia but in my opinion they don%26#039;t sound AS well with your other daughter%26#039;s name.
Congratulations on the pregnancy. I wish you the best of luck.
xXo

Emily Elizabeth
Reply:1 Emma
2 Hannah
3 Olivia
Those are my top 3 choices out of your list. My favorite girl names are Maicey, Madison, Makayla, Mckenna, Kaydence... to name a few. Good Luck!
Reply:I think the names Emma, Hannah, Olivia %26amp; Ella all go really well with Charlotte.
Personally I think that Alivia is a prettier and more feminine way to spell Olivia.
I don%26#039;t think that you should have a middle name of Hope or Faith, because Charlotte%26#039;s middle name is Grace and it would be really cliche.
What about :
Emma Paige
Hannah Elizabeth
Alivia Rose
Ella Sophia
Reply:Ella %26lt;33
Its a really pretty name and it works well with Mae, Rae, and Rose.
Your 2 year old has a beautiful name.
Ella and Charlotte, that%26#039;s adorable.
Reply:Those are all great names! I would go with Sophia Isabel or Emily Hannah.
Reply:All the names you have picked are beautiful. It%26#039;s so refreshing to see parents picking classic, pretty names instead of all these popular, trendy ones that look like surnames and require a degree in Languages to pronounce or spell. My personal favourite is Emily, it goes really nice with Charlotte. Good Luck with your new baby and whatever you decide to call her.
Reply:Emma Paige is so adorable.
Emily Catherine is so adorable.
Olivia Catherine is so adorable.
Sophia Lynn is so adorable.
Hannah Adel is so adorable.
Isabel Morgan is so adorable.
